1000 series

The 1000 Series Automatic Splicer provides Butler’s reknown reliability for a wide variety of printing applications. Although the 1000 Series is typically found in the printing industry it has been used in multiple packaging and bag making applications boasting high speed splicing and heavy roll handling capabilities. Designed for speeds up to 1,400 fpm, the 1000 has Digital Variable Gain controls, and a durable rolling nip splice head.

1000 Series Low Tension:

The 1000 Series automatic splicer is also available in a low tension model for applications which require lower tension.

Butler’s Series 1000LT Automatic Splicer brings our customers non-stop production using our proven zero speed splicing technology with over 99% splice reliability at speeds of up to 2000 fpm with tension levels of less than .25 – 1.75 PLI. This advanced machine couples Butler’s 50 plus years of experience with cutting edge technology. The 1000 LT Automatic Splicer brings ultimate reliability to difficult low tension splicing. The design features vector driven roll shafts, and low dancer inertia for extremely precise tension control.

Splicing is easy and secure because the splice is prepared with our simple rolling nip splice head. A heat seal butt splice is also available for this machine for film, non-woven, and other hot wire splicing applications. The design offers a compact roll over roll design requiring no pit and easy installation.
