Positive Displacement Guiders (P.D.G.): Butler Automatic’s Positive Displacement Guide is designed for areas of limited space or for control of webs susceptible to wrinkling — even when processing aluminum foils. P.D.G. uses totally dynamic positioning in correcting web wander.

Standard Dimensions:

• A = Exit/Entry One times maximum of Web Width.
• B = P.D.G. Roller Span- Two Thirds of Web Width.
• C = Sensor – As close as practical to P.D.G. Exit idler roller without interfering with swing.
