Roller Displaced Steering Frames are designed to create both a dynamic and static correction for true intermediate guiding control. The steering guide swings immediately when the material runs out of alignment, positioning the edge of the web back to the neutral point of the sensor. The correcting motion opposes the tendency for the web to wander from the guiding point.
