Customer support and service are very important to Butler Automatic. Butler has service and parts personnel in the U.S. and Europe offering 24 hour/day, 7 days/week support.
On a combined basis Butler Automatic has 6 parts representatives and 10 field technicians who support an installed base of over 16,000 units. We maintain a large inventory of replacement parts for all models installed since the late 60’s still in service today. Most customer orders ship the same day the order is placed. Butler offers complete preventative maintenance programs, upgrades and retrofits to improve and enhance the performance of the equipment in the field.
Butler has experienced manufacturing and engineering personnel that support existing products as well as developing custom designed solutions to meet our customer needs. Engineering designs and documentation are supported utilizing AutoCad and Solid Works and a company wide management information system is used to control operations and ensure customer orders are filled in a timely manner.

Butler Parts and Service:
Butler operates a worldwide service department. Butler Service Technicians, stationed around the world, are poised to respond immediately to customer’s requirements for service on any splicer. The Butler Parts Department is available twenty-four hours aday, 365 days per year.
Upgrades and Retrofits:
The Butler Parts and Service department offer many different Splicer Upgrades, Retro-Fits, and performance enhancing additions. All of these upgrades add to the efficiency of the machinery. Some of these include: DVG Upgrade, WIF Sensor Upgrade, speed upgrades and more.
Training Programs:
Butler offers several different types of training programs tailored to customer needs. A typical two day seminar, held in a customer’s plant, for operator training, covers the theory behind the operation of the equipment, safe and efficient operating procedures, and light operator maintenance. A typical three day course includes operator training, plus a day devoted to maintenance training. Drawings, manuals, and other training aids are included in the program.
