The 5000 is the automatic splicer unrivaled for quality, price, and performance. It extends our mid-speed machines performance into true high volume operation where automated controls are a must. Operating at speeds up to 1,800 fpm (9.2 m/s), the 5000 incorporates the productivity of the DataNet and the exclusive automatic dual-knife Onestep rotary splice head.

The Automatic splicer stops the expiring roll at the preset splice diameter, the process is then fed from the integrated accumulator while the expired web is joined to the prepared leading edge of the new roll. Next, the new roll is brought up to speed and the accumulator is refilled, eliminatingany stops in the production process for roll changes.
