Technology constantly changes. What was new technology even five years ago has been rendered obsolete today. In the ever continuing effort to maximize uptime, and decrease the incidence of mechanical failure, Butler Automatic, Inc. introduces the Pneumatic Clutch Upgrade.

The Butler Pneumatic Clutch Upgrade has been proven in field installations to significantly improve splicer performance. This upgrade replaces the existing magnetic particle clutch with a pneumatic clutch. The upgrade is able to bring your Butler Splicer back to its original factory rated speed, and protects against possible obsolescence of the existing magnetic particle clutch.

Butler splicers are built to last indefinitely. This fact has led our splicers to outlive old press maximum speed ratings in many cases. This upgrade gives our customers an economical way to increase speeds and thereby increase overall plant productivity.
